We are so very lucky to have Dr Couto on our island. I have seen and used (of eliminated) a lot of surgeons. I even wrote a book on the subject. I advised people to get three consults before choosing . I eliminated that process with Dr Couto. Quite simply- you will never need other consults. Do not waste time. Just go to him without a second opinion . He quite simply is the best plastic surgeon both in Puerto Rico and the upper 48. I had liposuction with him and a spectacular ear redesign. Why look further when you have the best at a fair price??
I contacted Dr. Couto in December 2021 for a check up on my right breast because it was sitting higher than the other one after having surgery in Colombia. He immediately took me in and confirmed what I suspected, I had developed capsular contracture. I scheduled my surgery for June 2022 and I’m now 3 weeks post op and I love my results since day one. They look great and symmetric, the doctor and staff were super attentive and I loved the fact the he called me right after surgery when I got home to explain the procedure he did on me and other details. Overall I would 10/10 recommend, he’s a great surgeon.
Dr. Couto and his staff have been so friendly and helpful since day one. I went in for a breast augmentation consult and was greeted by his staff. The nurse took me back right away and began the consult process. Dr. Couto spent alot of time with me and answered all my questions. On the day of surgery Dr. Couto and Natalia made me feel at ease, surgery went well and the doctor called me that evening to make sure I was feeling ok. Whenever I called with a question his staff or Dr. Couto himself would always get back to me. I never have to wait a long time in the waiting room to be seen which is very rare here on the island. I am in love the results and all the after care I have received from this office. I would definitely trust Dr. Couto with any of my cosmetic needs in the future.
